I've been dissapointed with my SnG lately...looking for some advice. The folds I make here are similiar to some hands where I called and lost, so I'm wondering if its all mental.

Hand 1... you are getting almost 3:1 to call that river bet with bottom two pair. I'm not sure there is <25% chance he is bluffing or has only 1 pair... I think you can cry and call here.

Hand 2 seems ok but I would probably try to steal.

Hand 3 is interesting... My first thought was that he just called bullshit on your CB.... but you are in the small blind, so there's no reason for him to think you are playing only high cards (unless you have been super tight...). I think he caught a piece... plus you are behind A-rag with no draw. As to skipping the CB altogether... no real answer for this. Flop looks pretty safe (some gutshot draws)... I think the CB is reasonable as long as you don't make it every time.

Hand 4 - it's your read, I guess you have to go with it.

Hand 5 - easy push over, he could have anything here, and you are short stacked. Actually, that's a wacky UTG min-raise isnt' it. Kinda looks like an "oh boy, time to sucker the small stack". Well, now I probably still push over, but I am less confident. Also, a stop-n-go candidate (i.e. open-push any flop).

I think you have to play this, though... if you fold your M is less than 4 4 handed (so effective M is like 2!) and your SB is coming up.

Man, I hate threads that post too many hands. I always figure out my response then type it up real fast. But by the time I get to hand 5, I forgot hands 1 and 2. It makes me sad. :(
