Default UK Open II Qualifier on Pacific

I was just wondering if anyone here knew how this tourney works, I just won a seat for $100 in it. I'm kind of confused though, because there are a maximum of 2000 seats available but it says 1 in 125 wins a seat in the UK Open... does this mean that people will be devided into groups of 125 and first place from each group wins a seat or is there only 1 winner out of 2000, I realize there's probably an obvious answer to this but I can't figure it out. Also if anyone has any tips for me before I play (sat, sept 17) they would be appreciated,
    Thanks

I take it to mean that 16 people out of the 2000 (or one out of every 125) are going to the open. You need to finish in the top 16, but it doesn't matter if you are 1st or 16th.

Standard MTT format (automatic table balancing etc.), but the tournament will end once you hit the top 16 - the top 16 finishers qualify.

Usually the play gets VERY tight toward the 'bubble' (which here is all that matters) - I've won a few sats by camping for a while, then just randomly moving in once people went tight. Mostly you want to be opening pots once you get toward the final 16 (say with 40 left or so) and give a lot of respect to aggresion pre flop. Figure out what the average chip stack will be when there are 16 left, if you get somewhere around half that number guard those chips like hens (again, until you see everyone else go tight).
