lol nope that doesnt help me. but was i right in making the call, if he didnt go all in i would have made atleast one more big bet anyway so i'm not bothered about losing. what i wondered is does his play make sense? |

I wouldn’t call. The biggest problem with high PP is that you overvalue them. We all do at times. It is ONLY one pair. |

Unlike Erick, i never FOLD this without a read. If the stacks were deeper it'd be a tough decision. Getting 2:1 to call, i don't see how you can really lay this down unless your read says that your opponent is super tight. |

If your preflop 6xBB raise was out of the ordinary for you, then his flop push made sense because he put you on a high pocket. Doing this at the right time accomplishes two things... It strikes while high pocket is feeling saucy, and it doesn't allow scare cards for high pocket to come and dry the pot up. Say you had KK and he decided to slowplay. If an ace hits the turn KK won't pay off trips. | |

stacks at the time were me 190$ and change him 30$... i had a gut instinct he had trips but like i said his play didn't make sense to me...he just sat down so no read. lesson learned! |
