500K GTD HH - critique please

Hi, if i could get some comments on my play that would be greatly appreciated. Also, the last hand - my friend said it was a bad play and that i should have folded into the money which was 60 places left, but i still think my play was correct, as it looked to me like a standard steal. i think my raise would have won it 80% of the time right there and the 20% i got called i would have won nearly 50% anyway so a 10% chance of being eliminated. personally in my opponants position i would have folded !8 - at best he is 50/50, especially considering (if he had been taking notice) that i play tight. just unlucky to be up against somebody who wanted to gamble, although he hadnt seemed like the sort of player who would call that up to now.

I just looked at your last hand - you made a mistake that I have also made quite a bit and then blamed my opp for "bad play." The problem with your read is that since he has twice your chips and has already made his preflop raise - he is sort of committed unless he has a VERY VERY good read that you have A higher kicker. I don't think your push was horrible cuz if he was just stealing it would be much harder to call you there. But the benefit of a hand like A8s - is that except for AA, no matter what hand you go against you are at worst a 30% dog.

I’d consider limping this utg at an aggressive table to come over the top of a raiser or take it down on an undercard flop. That’s only in EP and if I think I can trap a stealer. I just hate only getting the blinds here.

I’ve learned to hate this hand. I will limp it in LP occasionally. Unnecessary push here imo (especially facing a raise).

I hate pushing QJ but it looked like a steal and your likely not dominated. I definetly cannot consider this a BAD move but it wasnt nescessary.

just a few thoughts about a few of the hands, early on when the blinds are low, i dont really like raising with anything but a made hand preflop, i like to risk as little chips as possible to make a hand, unless the blinds are worth stealing or if i may raise for advertising purposes sucha s with the 57, i had barely played a hand so i thought i get credit for more than i had. Also with the AQ i tried to get in as cheap as possible i made TPTK, then bet into the preflop raiser, I assume he put me on TP, and then he raised me a fairly small amount which i think he expected me to call, i dont think he would have raised that small with JJ, QQ and AA are unlikely as i had an ace and a queen. so that left KK, which he later told me he had.
With the pocket 4's hand, the guy who raised AI had done so on quite a few occasions, and i thought there was a very good chance he just had 2 overs in which case i had the odds to call, i had to call 2900 to win 8800, i would also have a playable amount of chips left if i called and lost.
with the JQ hand on the end it just looked like a typical steal to me, i wasnt expecting a call, though i also thought that if i did get a call if would likely be pretty much 50/50 anyway as i didnt think he would raise that much with any premium hands.
Also with a few of the other hands such as JTs i would have played them if there was no raise preflop and i was in late position.
