    Default HH-lil' help???

I was afraid of the set, so I figured staying aggressive would buy me some info. At this level ($1 + $.10) the players REALLY suck, but are still capable of slowplaying. How do should I have played this?

I would have bet 200-300 on the flop to find out if I am beat right then and there. If he calls assume you;re beat and check/fold. (Let me add I'm still under 200 SnGs total.)

a 60 raise into a 100 pot with those stacks at this buyin is just pissing chips into the pot. Even at the $5 SnG's people will call a 60 raise on the flop with no piece of the flop just cause they have something like an Ace high. Smack that with a 150 raise and find out what's going on. If someone calls, hit the turn with about 250-300 and go into check fold mode.

    himself fucker.
    You played it well.

You might not have known it at the time, but your weak river bet (I know its weak becuase you were afriad to bet but felt you HAD to bet and HAD to bet more than you did on the turn even if its just 5 chips more) was a blocking bet and served the excellent purpose of taking you to showdown cheap.

You may have lost, but there are worse ways to play this hand. And these are some decent value bets against a worse pair.
