Default how to play two pairs?

I'd built my stack up just a few hands ago. I probably shouldn't have played this hand at all, but people were folding to my raises preflop so I thought I'd give it another go.

How should I have played this from the flop on? Should I have raised more on the flop? Should I have reraised the reraise? Should I have raised the turn? How much? I knew I had to lay it down on the river, but it was hard knowing I played the hand completely wrong.

Yeah, you have to push that flop. What could he have called your pre-flop raise with that beats you on the flop? Only 77 or 99 and since there's 2 of each already out, odds are he doesn't have that. (although I've seen it enough times.) I'd say you've got to push the flop. The problem becomes if he has TT or JJ he'd play just like he did, and he'll call your all-in on that flop, and the turn/river kills you. But that's getting out-drawn and that's poker....

You don't push right off though right? His aggressive play prior to this hand begs to be reraised on that flop. Make a lame continuation bet and then push...

Basically, I like the push on the flop too, but I set him up to make a move on me.

After he rereaises on the flop I am probably pushing this late in the tourney. I've seen these straights develop too often otherwise.

You have top 2 pair on flop, and to me his play is screaming either big pocket pair or bluff at me, unless he has a set, which is very unlikely.

He either thinks he has the best hand, or wants you to think it. I'd say you are ahead at least 90% of the time here, and even if he folds, you have taken down a very nice pot.

In conclusion, i wouldn't think twice about pushing after his reraise on the flop.
