    Default Continuation Bets...

You are playing weak tight all tourney, blinds are 25-50 and you pickup AJo and raise it 3xbb and get a call from a relative shorter stack at the table.

Flop comes 10 high with two rags, do you throw in a continuation bet?

My feeling and correct me if im wrong is that a 10 high flop doesnt look scary and in fact seems like a tight person didnt catch a piece of that flop...

Do you check the AJ down or throw in that bet that would put u a little under 10 bets....?

Sure, I'd put in a standard continuation bet here of around 2/3 the pot size and proceed with caution if that is called.

Another question...Do you guys play a7-a8-a9 for value early in tourneys in LP. You obviously dont need to steal 10-20 blinds with these hand but my point is, should u raise it in LP because most of the time, these hands will be in the lead.

Imo the chips you are risking by raising those hands early are more valuable then the chips you stand to gain.

A-9 suited on the button first to act early (10-20 blinds) I would raise, But A7 off, in the cutoff I probably fold. So it depends.

I'll limp Axsuited from any position with the blinds under 50, unless the table has been raising pre-flop a lot. Lots of tables are just a limp-fest at the early levels. If you know you can see the flop dirt-cheap, go for it and hope for the flush. Just don't be all excited if an ace comes on the flop....

For the ammount of times 5 handed I'v hit an A with AQ only to be crippled by AK flatcalling the whole time, it isn't worth playing most of these aces early. As the others said, use the suited A's on passive tables with position. Otherwise, just wait for when the blinds are relevent.

Continuation bet with AJ oop on a T high flop is a judgement call. I am of the opinion that you shouldn't ALWAYS make a CB, so this might be a good time to play weak and try to check it down. Obviously read dependent as well.

I don't generally play A7-9 o/s even in position when the blinds aren't worth stealing. I think you are better off keeping a tight image.
