Live 50 person shoot out.

Results 1 to 8 of 8

Default Live 50 person shoot out.

Blinds 50/100, I had 4xbb in the BB, we are 4 handed.

Dealt Q9o, UTG folds, button limps, sb limps, I check.

Flop 8QT, sb checks, I push with top pair mid kicker, button folds, sb calls with Q6o and hits his 6 on the river.

I am just wondering if I made the right move by pushing with 4xbb left.

    I'd push it every time.

    good push, bad beat

why do people ask whether or not it was a good play to get their money in as a huge favorite?

Because he is not necessarily looking at the results - he's looking at the decision. The key here is that even if he had pushed against TQ or higher it WAS the right play even though he would not have been the huge favorite.

then why would he post the results? that seems results-oriented.
