    Default Big Blind hand

What's your play here and your plan of action? Both opponents are loose calling stations.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (7 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    Hero (t795)
    UTG (t955)
    MP1 (t520)
    MP2 (t1285)
    CO (t2740)
    Button (t1110)
    SB (t595)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J, 9.
UTG calls t30, 4 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

    Flop: (t90) J, 3, 8 (3 players)
    SB bets t100, Hero ???

when a loose passive player bets. You are beat.

Raise. No doubt. Blinds are kind of low, so I raise to around 250 here, which is a healthy reraise. If he plays back at me, I'm probably out of the hand, but I've still got enough chips to do a little something with.

u want to risk dropping ur stack down to ~560 chips on a hand where u have TPNK. Where you can easily make up the 30 chips that u lost in the blinds the next hand by stealing from the blinds. Or 10 Hands from now where u steal even bigger blinds. I heartily disagree with a reraise here.

Even with deep deep stacks here, If a loose PASSIVE (calling station) LEADS a flop, it is MUCH different than Michael1123 leads the flop.

All the information that you have about this hand tells you to fold, listen to it. There is no need to get involved out of position over 30 chips.

You didn't raise pre-flop (for good reason). This is an even easier situation than the one that we discussed in another thread earlier.

I'm check/folding without 2 pair out of the BB (barring some amazing read). It's not worth it. If you can't raise it, then fold it.

I'm with VQ - if he was aggro there are lots of draws to put him on and a raise is in order, loose passive is not betting J7 here. We assume he'll smooth call rather than re raise anyway whether on a draw, TP better kicker OR TP worse kicker, so the raise doesn't get us any info.

Not awake today. For some reason, I was thinking Loose aggressive, not Passive. yeah. I'd definitely fold. My bad

Thanks for the feedback. I thought for a while about this and decided to fold as I had only see the SB bet with at least top pair. I was also worried about putting some chips in and then having the UTG player making a move.
In the end both of us fold and the SB shows 8d5h. I was still updating my notes when I busted him next hand when he tried to steal the blinds with a push with some crap and I had AA.

Good fold. Way to play patiently and wait for a better opportunity.

It seems that he had decided to change his game and play a little more aggro. Sure, he got 40 chips from you but his change of style allowed him to play right into your monster.
