    Default 4 hands from today...

    Hand 1

UTG looks like a TAggy thinking player. On prior hands he re-raised my button open of 3x from the BB, then on another hand he opened for 4x with AK and split with my AK when I pushed over the top of him. He's opened for 4x a couple other times with no showdown.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    MP (t2570)
    Button (t830)
    Fnord (t4173)
    BB (t3000)
    UTG (t2927)

Preflop: Fnord is SB with 5, 5.
UTG calls t200, 2 folds, Fnord completes, BB checks.

    Flop: (t600) 4, 7, 3 (3 players)
Fnord bets t600, BB folds, UTG calls t600.

    Turn: (t1800) 6 (2 players)
Fnord checks and is feeling a little sexy...

    Hand 2

SB is clearly looking to money (stole his blind once already.) Unsure about the BB, but he hasn't really gotten out of line.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400, ante is t25 (4 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    BB (t2545)
    UTG (t305)
    Fnord (t8075)
    SB (t2575)

Preflop: Fnord is Button with 2, K.
    UTG folds, Fnord folds...

    Hand 3

The next orbit, in the prior orbit the short stack survived and I pushed stole from the SB (was the BB)

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400, ante is t25 (4 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    BB (t1790)
    UTG (t360)
    Fnord (t8775)
    SB (t2575)

Preflop: Fnord is Button with 5, J.
    UTG folds, Fnord folds...

    Hand 4

    Any reason to gamble here?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400, ante is t25 (3 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    SB (t1390)
    Fnord (t9825)
    Button (t2285)

Preflop: Fnord is BB with 3, 6.
1 fold, SB raises to t1390, Fnord folds.

I think about pushing hand 2... You have so much Folding equity its not even funny. The rest look pretty standard.

    Hand 1 IS sexy.

Hand 2 and Hand 3 You can push with any two cards and it realyl does not matter. THey are going to be ridonkulously tight here and you can really really pick up these blinds easily. even if they call and u lose, your stack is still really realyl hefty. It is situations like this where its almost probably clear cut to push with any two cards. Your stack is so big that losing wont hurt you. You can pick up free chips. I open push these and I dont think twice.

    Hand 4 Dont gambool.

I think on the turn we can put TAgg on a very narrow range of hands (I'll leave that for someone else to post) and I don't think he checks behind with any of them, as he's either going to semi-bluff this or he thinks he's ahead in the hand. He's not the type to make a post-oak bluff, so any bet at the pot ties him to showdown.

edit: Any thoughts on my pre-flop play? I seriously considered a push...

I really don't mind the fold in hand two. You're looking at two stacks of 2500+, which is s significant portion of your lead. They're highly likely to fold, certainly, with UTG so short, so that's a case for raising, but I see nothing wrong with the more conservative play, either.

He's allowing you to see a cheap flop with a potential monster. Odds of hitting arent great but for amount it costs i think getting to the see the flop for cheap and making a monster is the better choice. Afterall if utg is a taggy thinky player as you called him then the utg limp is a little scary.

I don't mind a push at all. I almost suggested it, but I think you have enough chips for seeing a flop here as well. So to me it comes down to his play; your reads, and the image you want to convey.

Hand 2 is a clear push. Neither of the blinds can sensibly call without a big pair.

whats the difference between hand 2 and hand 3?? blinds cant really call either one.

i don't like the hand 1 check. i would just bet half the pot. you can't be sure he isn't drawing enough to risk a free card.
