Well, what do you think, bad play or bad luck? I knew he could be on flush draw, but that would give me good odds to call still. If he had had KK, AA he'd raise preflop, right? And I really wanted to double quick since this is turbo MTT.

If your goal is to quick double, then yes, you made the right play. I have not played in any online tournaments, I only play B&M. However, I have two quick points. First, why did you do minimum raise? Typically, when I raise in the first few rounds, I'll raise 4x. With a minimum raise, it's very hard to figure out where he's at when the flop comes. He may very well have 73 on this flop. For 2x on the big blind when the blinds mean relatively nothing compared to your chipstack, almost anything can call. Clearly, you were correct on your read. Maybe I play too weak, but I wouldn't risk my tournament's stake off of an overpair. You could've folded and still be in great shape.

Only play(at least to the call all-in) - neutral luck. He had too many outs to count to call it bad luck.

Should have folded, especially when he went all in with two suited, had to figure he either had flush coming or trips. QQ just not good enough to risk all your chips that early in the game.

Even first hand, I raise QQ harder preflop -- at least 4xbb

He had higher odds than you did with so many outs. But honestly.. If it were me.. I probably would of called as well. Reason being with doubling your stack you would of had a decent jump start to the tourny. And your probably going to win 4 out of 9 times.

Thats just me... Im almost definately wrong! But thats what i woudl do anyway!

    Iwind: raises 20 to 40
AHiltz gets in line to bitch slap you for min-raising. That raise will scare NO ONE. That needs to be in the 80-120 range at those blind levels.
