I reread aok's post about patience in mtt's tonight before I played and implemented the percentage strategy he lays out. I found it a really good guideline to keep me in check as one of my main leaks is building a decent stack then getting overactive and giving a large amount back on a steal attempt gone wrong (when it turns out that I really don't need to be stealing in the first place based on the percentage idea). Well anyways, here are some hands for analysis...
(I think I played really well in this tourney but got extremely unlucky as evidence by a couple hands below as well as the two times I got a pocket pair - aces - I could get no action)

jacks has been mixing it up alot and splashing alot of pots...is this a standard continuation bet situation to find where I stand or can i get away with checking this flop?? I usually like lead out HU when I am preflop raiser...If i am to continuation bet is this a good amount?
