What's the tightest SnG you've ever been in?

Last night I was in one that made it up to level 9 (blinds 250/500) with five players left. Not only that, but we were all pretty evenly stacked. I started really forcing the issue, going all in about every third hand, but for the most part they would fold to that. Twice the shortest stack called me only to double through with a worse hand. We finally eliminated one player midway through the level, and eliminated another to move into the money at the beginning of level 10 (300/600). But it was pretty tense sitting there with every player having only 3 or 4xBB in his stack, and every move consisting of "all in... fold fold fold."

I remember last week i think it was, there were still 7 players left on level 6 (200/400), i think the bubble was level 8 (400/800). I remember winning a very short headsup on level 9 (600/1200), but then the stacks were like 14k-4k in my favour when we got to headsup, though it wasn't a hugely tight tourney, just that the smaller stack won the first 10 or so times there were people all in so nobody went out for ages.

Most tourneys i play finish on 200/400 or 300/600.
The poker gods love me really, they are just testing my faith !

Maybe it's just my luck but that feels only slightly tighter than the average $5 SnG I play at pokerroom (1500 starting stack though).

Wonder if I've played you, rubix - your name is familiar! You didn't beat me into second at a $5.50 SNG at about 6pm EST last night, did you?

The blinds often get into the 1000s at pokerroom, I can testify to that.

No, I was at work then... but I'm on just about every night after 7:30 EST. My screen name on Pokerroom is "streubie"

That sounds even more familiar! Maybe from a hand history you've posted, I don't know. Anyway, I'll look out for you - though I seldom start tourneys after midnight British time. Ever play $50NL ring at Pokerroom?

I should have mentioned, this was a Party SnG. 800 chips to start, only 8000 chips in play; so we were at a big blind of 500 with an average stack of 1600 for at least a few hands.

What bizarre rules - normally the worse hand loses...

I play mostly $20 -100 Party skin SNGs, but PokerRoom(which I really dislike) gave me $10 for free with so I played a $5 and geez what a tight/passive table that was. I was about the only one raising preflop. Post flop they would only bet/call if the flop hit them. I'm going to see how much I can run this now $30 upto before the interface gets too irritating.

I'm guessing this is typical(?), I haven't played at PR in almost a year.

ive played in a dozen at least where there where still9- 10 people in at lv 6 and had a few that here still 5 handed at lv9 for a short while.

AT pokerroom I've had a few where it's still 10-handed at $150 blinds, that's very rare though.

I've been in others where five bust out before blinds go up.

I know! Then they said something about how it was a "low-ball" tournament. I didn't understand.
