First hand of this blind level. I’d been 2.5BB raising anything I played and wasn’t sure if it was time to switch over to push fold play just because I was suddenly under 10BB at this level. Basically, is this a push or do you want to try and get some action? The BB is a very loose calling station and I’d been pushing him around a little.

I was torn between open push or raise 2,5BB and push any flop.

I would rather push preflop, because 450 chips would look good on your stack.

Also, since you've been pushing him around, hopefully he'll spite call with a weaker ace or queen.

Open raising and pushing any flop gives your opponent to choose when he shows down with you after the flop where hands are much more defined.
