    Easy fold on the flop.

Your turn call is fine. The pot odds are almost there for the flush draw alone (not to mention the 3 other 8's in the deck) and should you hit you should be able to value-bet a few bucks to make it more than worthwhile (indeed you were able to).

It's your flop play that I don't like. What are you doing by calling? Are you ahead in the hand at this point or not? If you are, raise. If you aren't fold, since you have nothing to draw to.

Poor decision on the flop. I bet the pot on almost every hand I'm in for the following reasons:
    a) See if anyone will fold
    b) Hide the value of my hands
    c) See where I'm at

I think people get sick of it and reraise me after a while. I didn't value this player's raise much, so I thought that's what he was doing (therefore ignoring c). Then I tried to play like I was on a draw (flush or stright). Since the river came out with both possibilities I tried to take advantage.

Poor play. I'm trying to improve my post flop play and tried to get to cute here when I shouldn't have. I usually only do these plays in position, but wanted to mix it up.

I also don't want to just post hands where I win every time. Posting hands where I'm fairly sure I'm playing poorly will help me get better. Thanks for the feedback.
