Fast MTT advice needed!

I have just started played the Nitro Extreme tournament on Pacific. You get 7 secs to respond and blinds increase every 3 mins. You usually go from 350 players to the winner in about 45 mins so it is very fast. I think they are quite fun but would like some advice on how to play.

I usually play as slow as possible using most of my 7 secs. Since the players drop like flies you get closer to the money just by waiting. Exceptions are when when I´m shortstacked. Then I play faster. Another exception is when I like to appear very confident.

In these tournament you really have to build a stack fast. What would be the best way of doing this(apart from getting pocket aces)? I usually just stick to playing tight/agressive (or try to).

Another troublesome thing is that the fast elimination of players often result in changing tables. This makes it quite hard to get a good read on your opponents. But I guess you would just have to develop your skills at getting reads.

Don't worry about reads in a tourney that fast - just play your cards and position and hope your luckbox is running gOOt.
