Default Re-raise big or push all-in here?

What would you do here? RJW was a solid player and had become very aggressive once we got to heads-up. Would you reraise (say to 2000-2400) or push all-in here?

    I certainly am not calling.

Playing Ax out of position against a pre flop raise is an enormous amount of trouble. You will have a really hard time defining your hand without spending a ton of money to find out your beat. And if you're not beat, you stand to make little money with it most of the time.

If villain is raising a ton of hands pre flop from the button(like most do heads up) i reraise to 2000 with the intention of pushing the flop if it's raggy or i hit, as long as i don't think villain hit it too hard (JQK flop i'm obviously check/folding...etc). You're holdings are better than average for this situation and you can make the most chips that way unless he hits the flop hard.

Sorry Pat, I totally agree with your analysis - the real question I meant to ask (I've edited the original post) is whether I should reraise or push AI.
