Default Is there anything else I did wrong.

Very beginning of a MTT. I am in the BB holding AKo. My stack is 1360 (1500 start). Player 4 (1640 stack) in middle postion raise 2 x BB to 40 Player 7 (740 stack) calls. Folded around to me I raise 3 x the raise to 120. Player 4 calls, player 7 goes all in for his last 700. I call, player 4 raises the size of my remaining stack. The table had been extremely loose up to this poing. People all-in with absolute junk. After thinking about the possible hands I am facing, I call. Player 4 shows A60 and Player 7 shows A9o. 6 on the flop and holds up to take it down and eliminte 2 people.

I know of 1 mistake that I made. Instead of just calling the 700 all in I should have rasied once I decided I was going to play. This would have increased the chances of isolating the small stack. Is there anything else I did wrong here. I know that I was in the middle of a squeeze and had to have a great hand to play. I generally don't ever value AK. Feedback would help me out.

(Not a Bad beat whine, it is only a bad beat if I should have been in the pot)

I would have pushed after player 7 went all-in to isolate Player 4.
Other than that, not a lot you can do. Player 4 is a complete idiot.

What site and what limits is this?

sometimes the stupid coqsmokers who play this game really piss you off. what can you do though, you have to figure you'll profit off them in the long run.

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure if this was a time in the tournament that I throw this hand away with confidence that I can make money at a better spot. If I were to muck this hand it would have been after player 7 went all-in. By the way the betting went down I figured at best I was facing a medium pair 13-10 dog if this was the case. Given the pot odds I still have to stay in.

This was a $5 NL Freezeout at Gaming Club. The beginning of these $5 games are very fishy. I hate picking up aces in the first half-hour of these games. I am usually busted because there is 2-3 players all-in preflop before all the betting is done and rockets get busted bye 89o.

you want the pot preflop or opp all in. I either cold call the mini raise or make a substantial reraise to start with. Any pushers are getting called. Therefore if someone reraises my reraise i just push.
After that in this caseid say you are bad beaten if you lose to a weaker ace.
