Default How would you play this on the flop?

Would you check on the flop or bet more? I know you are only supposed to bet with something good if someone is all in so i didnt want to be obvios,The flush draw wasnt scaring me didnt think he would call a big raise with suited cards maybe A Ks.

Your line of a weak lead at the pot is a good one.

You could also check hoping he bets, but I prefer betting out weakly with the set.

The side pot is not dry, so you can definitley bet this.

Actually I think that little 1/5th of the pot (well 1/2 the side pot) isn't bad. Even if he has crap he might think you are donking him and call a couple of times.

Any move that gets someone elses money in the pot here is g00t

Even if it is dry, I try to move on this.

What about my raise pre flop? Lil too big? I hate having more than 1 other person in the pot with me with QQ.

I probably go for a c/r outright on this. Any A is almost drawing dead to you besides A8 and AQ which are drawing slim (A8 with 4 outs, AQ with 2...and 88 with 1 ) and a flush draw is real unlikely since the Ad and Qd are out (who's in this pot with JTd or KJd?). Your hand is pretty safe here and the sidepot is subsantial enough so that if villain holds an A he will probably bet it.

The pre flop raise is fine imo. With so many left to act you really don't have much other choice, if you bet 1BB less and you get 1 caller close behind, later people with more marginal hands get a better price to draw with worse holdings. And you're right, you don't want more than 1 or 2 in the pot when you are holding QQ.

I'd play about the same. I can't see folding even if the flush draw gets there, you may as well make a bet that MAYBE a fish with KQ or TT/JJ might call. Checking here is a reasonable line as well, MIGHT draw a bet from same fish. You're getting an A's money however you play it.
