    Default Shorthanded SNG's

I prefer playing short handed. On Paradise poker they have 5 max SNG. I tried one out and I won, which earned me $35, 2nd gets 15, i played $10+1 buy in. Are these profitable to play? I'm asking this because they go much faster and I'm gonna be paying a lot of rake........

they have short handed sngs on stars where thee rake is less than 10%.

sure its profitable if you are better than the other players.

You have to be sick at heads up to make money off of these.

You can't afford to get 2nd consistently.

I used to play the 5man turbo's on Hollywood. It was ridiculously easy to finish ITM over 75% of the time by playing tight/aggressive until the bubble, then push/folding and stealing blinds. But second place only pays out 1.5 buy ins...And i kinda suck at heads up. I did profit in them over about 65 SnGs (21% ROI...small sample) but i don't think i'll ever go back to playing them primarily.

They are real nice when you only have a half hour or so to devote to poker and you dont' feel like playing ring though.

Every time I won a 6 handed PS SNG, I'd usually think I could have won a 9 handed table with the same cards, so I quit. YMMV.
