That's me every time I sit down at a NL cash game I think I am going to give up on NL cash and stick to LHE and NL MTTs. I have a very costly cash game habit of pushing with hands I shouldn't be and trying to force people off hands too much.

..and what the fuck is up with posts that don't include reads or at least something like "uhhh.... I just sat down." It's really fucking asinine of you guys to make these kinds of decisions in a big bet game without reads or to expect good advice. There is a shit ton of great information there, but it's a lot less useful out of context.

I thought the best way to get his money was to just call and represent the flush draw. I figured he wouldn't put me on set, two pair or the straight since those hands probably would have reraised on the flop. I wanted him to bet big into me on the turn, then I was going to push all-in.

Then of course the turn put a four card straight on the board and I hardly got anymore money out of him.
