    Default Some quick advice

I have managed to gain a limitd amount of internet access for poker each week, not a lot but enough.
therefore ive decided sngs are my best bet, so to speak.
ive got $500 dposited still at ap so for the minute im going to sng there.
will i be best to play 10/20 possibly even 30 buy in games where i know there are few fish (at least on ap) or would i be better playing lower buy ins (im concerned i may not be on my A game due to lack of time to play)
but the lower buy ins are full of fish and i get stung more times than is really possible.
Any advice from anyone who doesnt play too much or any general thoughts? I havent played poker where i only play for a few hours a week before. My test run this morning was succesful as i placed itm in all 5 $20 i played in (able to multitable for the moment)

Do you really feel SNGs are the best bet? You're basically committing to up to 90 mins play, or more if you bust out after 30 and fancy another game. Ring at least has the benefit that you aren't under any time pressure at all and, theoretically, your game can be just as seamless as if you wer eplaying for 6 hours straight.

I agree. For me, the biggest selling point for ring games is the ability to come and go as you please.

I think the variance is lower with SnG's though, especially if you're good at them. Miffed - with your roll I'd recommend the 20's if you're comfortable with them and have a proven track record of success at that level. 30 is probably too high (one good downswing could cripple or bust you). If you haven't played that many SnG's, I would say 10 is a safe level until you have more experience under your belt.
