Well played, I think. I'm a little worried on the flop and turn that I'm betting into a made flush, but I still think you have to do it. nice hand.

Is there any value in either checking the river to give either MP3 or Button a chance to bluff at it? Or make a smaller, more callable bet on the river to try and get a call (I guess this would look odd tho, given the money already in the pot)?

    Not criticising, just wondering ...

The way I see it, the people who call the flop bet are more likely to have A or K than to have suited connectors of the right suit - and if they have A or K they can't have a made flush. So I think that it's even more unlikely than usual that you're up against a made flush on the flop.

Thats excactly what I wondered about too? What do you think?
I think I should have made a small bet of about 300 on the river instead of going allin. I think the chance of someone trying to bluff at the pot by betting on the river when I check is to small to count on.

The pot is too big relative to your stack. Any hand calling 300 there is more than likely to call the 740.

True. But then you push and get no callers anyway (granted, you were not to know that). A small bet looks iffy to me because you are betting only 300 into a ~2000 pot, particularly since it is nearly 1/2 of your remaining stack. I would just think you couldn't possibly fold now, but then it might just attract a call.

Tough one really. What's the buy-in btw?

I play the $10s @ Stars. What's your SN? I will keep an eye out for you (and check you out on PT in case I've already played you!)

My SN is "Robert85". I havent played there for a long time, took a break for over a month playing NL 25, only returned to the sngs on stars a few days ago. Whats your SN?

BTW, can you help me out with Stars SNGs and PT? When I import my HHs into PT nothing shows up in my Tourney Stats section - its just empty

I'll try. Do you request the Tourney Summaries as well as just the HH's?

    himself fucker.
I like the river becuase both MP3 and Button declined to push the turn where a flush would definitly. Only thing I'd be worried about is seeing a small flush at showdown since sometimes you get a weak/tighty who can't let go but never wants to raise with the weak flushes.

I have a full house on the river, so I'm not worried bout the flush, just curious on how to get the most out of it on the river

What are "Tourney summaries", and where do I get them?

The pot is already enormous by the river after everyoen called your flop and turn bets. 740 into that pot is only like 1/3rd of the pot, so the push is definitely the best "value" bet you can make there. You may have even gotten lucky and had soemone chasing the flush with AdQs or something who won't be able to lay down trips and pay off your boat. Hand looks A-OK.

So it would seem. This hand is a lot more fun if you don't fill up.

Ok, after you have requested the specific hand history from PokerStars, there is an option directly underneath it called "request summary" or "request tournament summary" or something like that (I'm @ work at the moment, but will check for sure later). You need this because it contains all the buy-in information, the vig, the final positions and everything like that.
