    Default Continuation Bets

Normally when I raise pre-flop and miss the flop against 1 or 2 players, I make a continuation bet of about 1/2 the pot if first to act. (if the flop isn't too scary).
However, surely doing this too often will make you easy to read, so I'm starting to mix my continuation bets with pot size bets on the flop. Is this a play that's recommended or is it too risky a play?

Rather than mix it up randomly, I'd let the draws & number of opps in hand dictate it. No draw out, 1 opp, HPS is probably fine. One draw, one opp, 2/3ish. 2+ opps with 2 draws out, in I don't think you should continue bet without a hand, but generally here I'd lean to PS.

I like random myself. I would guess pot sized continuation bets about 25% of the time wouldnt be too bad. Not that thats what I do or anything.

Depends on the Flop...With an ugly flop that scares no one I'll usually go 1/2 to pot (varying often). I also like to come out with a continuation of 1/2 - 2/3 if the board pairs on the flop.
Listen, here's the thing. If you can't spot the sucker in your first half hour at the table, then you ARE the sucker.
