Default AJs for ~1/2 my stack against a potential tilter?

Just to set this up ..... a few hands earlier, Big D had led out with the minimum bet on a [6s 2s 7h] flop, was raised and instantly moved AI and proceeded to lose most of his stack with a busted flush draw (84s!!). He then moves AI two hands running straight after and no-one calls. Takes a few hands off before doubling up A9 v A3. This then leads to this ....

Do I take him on here? Do I need to gamble?

He's most likely on a smaller PP, which puts you at a coinflip. How did he play that A9? Was it a push? If he was tilting, would he be pushing *any* ace in your opinion of him?

Adding 700 chips puts you in a good position, and a loss would leave you with 16BB, so based on his tilting and constant pushing, I would call it.

yeah, he is in Push/Fold mode after losing that big pot (A9 incl).

I think anything from low-to-mid pp, Any Ace, any two paint.

If the blind increase is a few hands away, definitely call. The range of hands is too great to pass up the chance at getting a 50% increase in your stack, catching you up with the lead group in chips and setting you up for an even chip stake at the bubble.

If the blinds are about to go up... I'd lean towards a call, but a fold isn't horrible.

    himself fucker.
I think it's still a bit too early for this kind of gamble. I don't see it being a huge edge for you to call this since he might be desperate, might not. I probably fold becuase it's a little too much in the air a little too early.

nope! but it's always nice to be reminded for those moments of weakness where you consider calling a raise with it

incidentally, I did fold here. I honestly thought more people would say gamble. I must be learning how to play this game a bit better!
