It's a really easy fold here, whether the other player is aware of the images involved or not. What it comes down to is that he has the RIGHT to re-steal based on the texture he may or may not be aware of (his tight image vs your loose one). That's the way you should see this.

I usually only take it one level deep with any player unless I have a reason to dig deeper. The first level being my read on them and the second being their read on me obviously.

What I'm saying is that you can't try to hedge off what you percieve to be the first time a particular player goes level two on you. That's why I say he has the right to re-steal. Only when you notice a pattern of moves on your image by an opponent do you start swimming in the deep end with them, or shifting your image to thwart them.

The point I'm making is that you seem to be considering the deeper level here before it's time to. That's because some players (especially multi tablers) NEVER try to pick you off the whole session. You have no idea whether this guy is shifting level two on you, or just obliviously betting his AA. Give him credit for his tight image until he proves otherwise.

How often is he calling this pre-flop in your experience? I only came in because of my read on him, otherwise it's an easy pass. My initial thought was I wouldn't mind a weak player checking behind. Heck he might get cute with Kx and give me a shot at his stack. Looking back at it, I may as well bet out because I really don't want to show this down.

If he folds more than 62.5% of the time it's insta-profit. If it's close, then it's a great spot to estblish a loose pre-flop image.

Looks fairly standard to me. A small cont. bet will likely earn you the pot a fairly large amount of the time, since his low-mid pocket pair didn't set up.

$4 to look like I'm actually betting, a full "please fold" $6 or just the boring "I'm stealing your blind weeeeee" $3? If I've pulled down lots of pots on continuation bets with air over the past 2-3 orbits (as was the case here) are you more inclined bet or check?

I find that people are more inclined to defend their blind with bad cards two handed than 3 or 4 handed, even though it's incorrect to do so. Still you have to respect the trend.

I might have put out a pot sized bet on the flop here with only one broadway. A lot of the time you'll find someone defending with Ax and not Kx for the showdown value.
