    Default Better set play?

I posted a play I made with a set, a few days ago, and I was told that I played it really weak. So I took the advice and I played this set a little stronger. What I want to know is if the check on the flop was a good move, or if I would have gotten more chips with a small bet?

You reraised him to 250 on the turn, I'd at least bet that on the river. Otherwise, NH.

this early - your check with position on a rainbow flop was standard. You don't have a read yet so why chase him out? The only possible worry is the str8 draw. Turn min-raise was fine. River you want to value bet - get as many chips from him as you can, but don't let him fold. I agree that the 125 here was probably too weak, since he called the 250 before. But all-in-all well played.

Yeah, definately go with a stronger river bet, considering the size of the pot he'll be willing to call a little more on any draw except for maybe 78, but even then I'd be surprised he'd call anything on the river.
