    Default Betting Dangerous Flops

The last hand I played, I raised 4x BB and got two callers. I had A/10s in mid late position and the blinds are only (10/20) and there was one limper infront of me. The flop came 9/Q/Q with only one diamond. There is now about $300 in the pot. I didn't want to bet too much and get pot committed so I only bet 100 chips. Two people folded and the person who checked to me in the blinds called. The flop brings a 10 which now gives me two pair and I go ahead andbet another 100 to the person in the blinds all-in. He turns 10/8 and I take the pot. The question is though, is it safe to bet 1/3 of the pot or is that a weak bet? I'm a very aggressive player and most will check flops like that to me for the chance to check/raise.

Does this mean he check-raised all in on the turn and you called? If so, don't call that. It's been my experience that a turn check-raise often means a slowplayed strong hand. Here it didn't, congratulations.

I'm not sure your flop bet really accomplishes anything. I'd either bet more or not at all. If you check, I think your turn bet is scarier (unless opp has the queen). I kind of suck at c-betting though.

I think it was a good bet, a better bet might have been 200. That probably would have been enough to get the 8-T guy to fold and end it there.

what did you want to accomplish by betting the turn?

I bet on the turn because the player was already pot committed. He was gonna go all-in with his last 100 chips anyway and I had paired my 10's

I think that for an early stage of an Sng this was a very loose move that is EV- in the long run.

    I limp/fold AT this early.
The flop missed you, dont invest anymore money in the pot.

And your opponent is pretty much a moron. with 400 chips or so that he had limping T8 was bad, calling 4BB raise is even worse. You did not specify the buy ins, but you usually dont run into such morons.

In the future please include more info in your post:
    Buy in
    Stack sizes
    Reads
    Number of players
    etc... etc...

I think VQC has posted a guilde for what to post in a hand, but I did not find it.
The easiest thing is to post the HH for the hand
