    I've seen this on PokerStars a couple times, what does this white star mean?

    They are registered on PokerStars.net, the play money site.

    So..... what is that supposed to tell everybody else?

    That they've been playing play money and now they want to step it up to real money?

    I guess I don't understand the significance of knowing that they are registered on ps.net
