An easy fold here; $120 bet for a $480 pot and I'm probably waaaaay behind (and I'm learning not to discount that someone may have 77 or KQ here). I'm terrible at figuring out implied odds. Just wondering if anyone can justify a call here.

$2705 in the pot, $1705 for me to call and I've got 6 more rounds of blinds left. Do I call and hope I hit my draw or wait for a better spot?

Not too long ago. I thought that odds were something for ring game players. THey are a big part of torunaments, but bigger parts are realizing what your bet/call/all-in does to you in the scheme of the entire tournament.

In our interview with Greg Raymer, I attacked this straight up by asking him about his willingness to enter race situations time and time again. He replied by quoting pot odds and saying that if he is getting 3-2 on a 2-1 bet, he is going for it... Interestingly to me, this includes if it takes 1/3 to 1/2 of his stack.

In the same way, though I initially feel inclined to tell you the pot odds are not as important to your situation as the position you are in when making these calls. I will back out of this discussion and let others join.
I don't know what they have to say
    It makes no difference anyway.
    Whatever it is...
    I'm against it.

    hand 1 - fold

hand 2 - if you think he has a J of less, i'd be likely to gamble. I'd rather have a tight read here - looser opps make this play with A high draw which would suck.

Having said all that if you were going to call AI you were better off pushing the flop.
