So you have 10 outs twice compared to the SB's maximum of 4 outs (two queens and two jacks) twice. You are 75% sure he has AA-QQ I would guess, but TT is also just about possible maybe, plus the chance that his huge overbet is a bluff/semi-bluff with A9 or AT (maybe clubs). You must have been really, really tempted - how long did it take you to fold?

    tempting...I think i'm calling here
Against that heinous background, my crimes were pale and meaningless. I was a relatively respectable citizen - a multiple felon, perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

I call... but I'm also one of those players who makes the big gambles early to build up a big stack.

I see A-10 making this play all day. With the straight draw and even backdoor flush draw... and the overpair... I call and then become table captain

What was the buy in for the tournament?
Dealer: bencathers has two pair, Aces and Deuces
Dealer: Tbags has two pair, Kings and Jacks
Dealer: Tbags finished the tournament in 256th place
Tbags [observer]: another scumbag gets there on this site lol

The way I've played my $1 tournies so far I've been able to make the money without much risk at all, so I didn't like to go so hard this early on; there's heaps of money to be made from the manics who double up early.

Still took me the whole timer to fold, though.

I call this all day. You've got 8 outs to the straight, two outs to trips, the flush... If you're beat on the flop (which Isn't certain by any stretch) you've still got all kinds of outs unless you put your opponent specifically on QJ.
