    Default kindness?

This topic has probably come up before, but what do you do here. (BTW, this guy was AWFUL at heads up, he played like it was 1/2 full ring.)

Why bother continue with it? 44 into a 3.90 pot... I'm not sure if it's a good spot to convince yourself you're ahead. I'm a weak HU player, but I could see the opp being tricky with KK?

You can't just play this hand in isolation. This hand is so about the hands before and after it.

ditto fnord.. have you been raise raise raise raising him? is he getting frustrated?? like full ring? 44? just looking at it i'd fold with such little invested

though one thing fnord.. how exactly do i play a hand based on the hands that occur after it
    villain goes AI
i call with a set (i have him owned)
    i win pot
villain: **** this, this site is bullshit, ******* rigged, suck out ****

Looks like someone with QQ or KK who really fears getting outdrawn.

Unless you have strong read he is a maniac, fold.

At best, maybe hes a fish with KJ QJ.

sorry, i guess my 1/2 full ring thing wasn't explicit enough. He folded, a lot. He was folding to everything. He raised preflop like 3 times in 100 hands. He would call maybe every 4th one of my raises, i'd take it down easy on the flop 75% of the time, and we'd have a little action the rest of the time. Only big hand, I had been raising like crazy, had 56, basically i ended up turning a straight, he decided to grow a pair and jam me to 50BB from like 15BB, i pushed he folded, that was the only action hand.

On this hand, I had a suspicion he made a mistaken bet. But heads up, you never really know. in this case do you think its worth basically risking your whole stack to see if its a mistake? also if he did make a 44 bet by accident instead of 4, would you ever fold it just because you're a good guy?

sorry that i'm like never clear enough in my first posts, I make too many assumptions about what people will figure out from what i say.

I finally see what you're talking about. The double-tap on the four key when he's typing his bet.

If I think my hand is good, I'm not folding because I'm a nice guy. Nobody ever did me that favor (who had me beat). And I've made that typo plenty of times.

You have the read, but I'm folding here anyway, if he's been really passive.

It's sometimes correct to pass on what might be a small edge if you expect a larger edge later.

Per the original post, if you think he made a mistake, then just push.
