Default Some Bad Plays I Made Today

How should I have played these hands differently? Should I just lay down my hand when I get raised? My biggest leak seems to be that I can't put down a hand that I think is probably the best hand, even if I get pushed. Here they are:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    saw flop|saw showdown

    UTG+1 (t1290)
    MP1 (t1230)
    MP2 (t1450)
    CO (t2060)
    Button (t10)
    Silverfist (t2110)
    BB (t1720)
    UTG (t2160)

Preflop: Silverfist is SB with K, 9.
    1 fold, UTG+1 calls t30, MP1 calls t30, MP2 calls t30, CO calls t30, 1 fold, Silverfist completes, BB checks.

    Flop: (t180) K, 4, 4 (6 players)
Silverfist bets t180, BB folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, CO calls t180.

    Turn: (t540) 7 (2 players)
Silverfist bets t270, CO raises to t1850, Silverfist calls t1580.

    River: (t4240) 9 (2 players)

    Final Pot: t4240
Main Pot: t4240 (t4240), between CO and Silverfist.

Hand 1: If you'e going to make that play with a 9 kicker, then just fold pre-flop. You were beating a bluff or a flush draw on the turn there - that is it.

Hand 2: ??? Why would you be so confident that 77 is the best hand on a board like that with 4 weak bettors in the hand? I really, really don't understand your call/push - were you thinking "ah the BB was screwing around so that means the SB must be too"? Or was it more on the lines of "man, I really don't want to fold here just in case my 2 pair is good, so instead I wanna call and I know SB is gonna push I'll just get it over with quickly"?

your 'leak' is thinking these are the best hands.

Hand 1 - this is a toughish spot, but char is right to say you are very rarely ahead here. Good pot to try and play cheaply. Ask yourself whether you'd be in the pot with K8 or K6... other wise this is not good.

Hand 2 - with no draw out, there is 0 reason to think you're ahead here. Did you really expect A5 and 66? Stop and ask yourself "What do I beat?"

First thing's first - The fact that you are posting so many of your hands and attempting to learn is good - you are doing the correct thing and should continue to do so

    Back to business:

Hand#1: Once he called your flop bet what did you put him on? Once he reraised you what did you put him on. Other then a stone cold bluff your 2 pair shitty kicker are no good.

Hand#2: with 4 people seeing the flop middle pair is set it or fold it hand. On the flop with a bet and a raise ahead of you what did you put them on.

No offense, but it seems to me that you have the 'he's bluffing' syndrom - you are sure everybody is bluffing all the time. They are not.

Rule of thumb - on a hand with a lot of action you need a good hand to stay involved. In both of those hands your two pair are very vunerable because the board is paired.

I totally agree - any harshness that comes from me is never, ever, to be taken personally (unless of course I tell you to take it personally).

I am adding this to my MTT Leaks. It is a leak I fell into a lot when I was first starting, and still fall into occassionally (especially after consecutive beats).
