what to do?

I recently participated in my first real live multi-table tourney. It was a 270+30$ tourney capped at 77 participants. I did much better than I ever imagined I would do. I came out in 3rd, with a payday of $2,803.46.

Now, in coming top 3, I won myself buyin into their "Fall Classic". This is a fairly large tourney. It has a $750 buyin and they are anticipating 300 - 400 participants and takes place December 12 - 17.

Now, to my point. Im really not sure at all as to what kind of strategy to use here as this will only be my second live multi-table tourney. For the previous tourney I went in and decided I would play a little loose in the early stages to try to increase my stack a little then try to sit on that stack and steal lots of small pots later on and try to hold on as long as possible, which worked out alright. Unfortunately I've been told this probably would not work in a tourney with such a large feild. Im just looking for some imput from some people who have some experience in tournaments similar to this and also im looking to play some decent tournaments online in the near future with a similar ammount of participants.

Where is my $60?

The first thing I would do is figure out the blind structures and how often they will be increasing.

This should give you a basic idea as to how quickly and how many chips you ar going to need to accumulate.

Other than that, however, i would not go into the tourney with a set "gameplan." Try and get a read on your table and go from there.

You can just transfer the $60 to Triptanes on Pokerstars, I have tried to PM you about it, but you never responded. My bad if you forgot, but a deal is a deal.

I would play "tight is right", get agressive on the bubble, trite I know, but tested and true. Always be looking for spots to get chips though, take advantage of each individual opponents weakness.

First off I'm not trying to screw anyone, second off there has been a lot of shit going down around here until recently that put your 60$/poker in general on the back of my mind, for the past 5 months or so my aunt/kinda-mother has been living in the hospital and ive been there a lot, as well as my best freind suffering a heart attack ....but Im not gunna go into detail or use that as an excuse, you will get your 60$ as soon as I put some $$ on pokerstars. Boondock, this has nothing to do with you and it would have been appreciated if you could have been polite about it like trip was, but i'm sure you didnt mean to be rude.
