To put a player with a 10 to an all-in decision when he has very little reason to think he's behind. To a player with trip 10's, my bet makes no sense. He probably suspects I'd want to get some sort of value if I also had a 10 or a full house. I'm betting all my money on what looks like some kind of an absurd bluff.

As jmontis said, no one was getting involved without a 10 anyways, and I thought this might be the best way to bust a player with one by confusing him into calling off all his chips.

Probably won't work in general, but I thought it was worth trying.

I suppose. I just know under regular circumstances, I'm not going to throw $300 into a pot when I've only invested $4 and I definitely don't have close to the nuts. Don't you think in most cases, someone with a 10 will fold in this situation? Maybe I'm looking too far into the fact that he made a big mistake and called with a 4 kicker that's throwing me off. I suppose AT could call it down? Or am I completely wrong there?

It would never call that bet, though. No one would risk $300 to win $14 unless he was sure he had the nuts. Since 6T is a really unlikely hand, I'd put you on 66 and fold immediately.

Just betting all-in is admittedly sort of silly. I was just experimenting, but it's definitely good to overbet in these situations and try to get the player with trips all-in.

I have used the same move a few times, usualy when I'm sure someone has (or should have) the trips.

I have alsow been put on the spot with this move once and even if I only had a mid kicker, it was rather hard to fold. I would not use it vs all opp, but sometimes its golden.

Trips with crap kicker is many times worse then tp with crap kicker, as you wont get any action unless you are behind and folding gets harder.

Normally, you waste so much value here as to be TON of value here by going AI. However, if you had gone AI several times before, on what looked like obvious steals, then someone could auto-call this with a pair.

So, to make this profitable, you would have to have a really LAGGY image for it to pay off, IMO, or just get lucky that they had a T.

It doesn'tr seem that unorthodox to me. Seems when you flop a boat on this type of flop, you need to defend you hand. The only hand that will play is another 2 pair with a higher kicker, and always those trips will stay in the hand. And when that 10 catches the last 10 or his kicker, you are dead.
