    Default Stupid push?

Opp was raising quite a bit in big amounts most of the time (usually around 6-10BB), had around 25 hands of seeing him work and he was super aggro all around. The table was mostly passive at this point, so his moves were working.

What do you put him on, and is this a good push at this time?

yes, you're short stacked, an even better push if he's been aggressive.

would u ever advocate folding JJ against a super aggro player?

if not, do u think a call or a raise would be in better order?

if a raise would be better, how deep is ur stack and what is the most effective raise to make in this situation?

    1) Can't think of a situation
    2) Raising, because a call commits 1/4 of my stack on the hopes of a board with no overs
    3) If I min-raise, I'll be cutting myself in half and comitting myself to the pot, so a push is best because my money's going in anyway and I think I have some folding equity here.

It's like I can answer my own question! Wow!

If he's really been that super-aggressive, I'd push that in a heartbeat. Remember what Harrington says:

"If the raiser is a known super-aggressive player, you reraise with any hand that you would use for an opening raise from your position" (Vol 1, 190).

with your read on the player, a push is the only logical move, i do fold jacks preflop to a raise early all the time, but it is usually player dependent......this player....push.

This is just for argument's sake.

What if you think there is a better opportunity to stack him later (or a better opportunity to build chips, later)?

I guess we woudl have to decide how +EV it is now compared to how +EV it is later.

But if maknig a +100EV play now will give me 70 +35EV PLays later, I would rather do that than skip a +100 EV play now for a 3 +300EV plays later.

i think i kno where ur trying to lead this arugment to.

i routinely past on +ev plays early because i play the bubble very well and have the biggest edge at this stage. My goal is to get to the bubble at as many tables as possible, which is why id fold jacks to a gross overbet most of the time unless i had a read on the player.....other than he raised 10x one hand.
