Wow, guys these are simple reads.

Players unwilling to bet their hands but will call bets, will panic on the river and go all in at times. The key is the board pairs second pair which they both should have logically bet on flop with considering their position.

On the river they look at the size of the pot and try to steal with busted straight draws thinking the board pairing is scary when in fact that is not a bad river card against the button who has been check calling along.

nh, But what about the donk factor? how high buyin is this?

I can certainly c making those river calls...but I'm surprised by your turn bets. Do you often bet low pair no kicker if you sense weakness? Especially with 4 players to the flop I'd be afraid of a medium pp.
Very nice calls by the way.

I like it, so the check turn is the key here on a dangerous board

soupie and gabe's hands are different. In soupie's he was betting the turn after weakness on the flop and getting called by a guy with position who then sensed weakness by the river check and tried to steal a pot.

In gabe's, gabe had position, bet the flop just to take it down, whiffed the turn and then called a river bet position.

I personally find soupie's calls easier to make than gabe's call.

Are you saying Soupie's are easier because anyone who hit that flop would bet it, or at least raise Soupies bet on the turn?
