Default This was too timid, right?

At what point should I have made a play for this pot? Should I have just bet the flop? I've just walked into so many traps lately, it's beginning to hurt my game:

Try not to be results oriented. Given the circumstances (way too early to be involved in hands like this), you made the right play. Seeing the third Q come down on the turn makes it seem like you should've stayed in there, but in reality, you lose your ass over the long term making calls like this. Now if it was down to 2-4 players in the tournament, it'd be a different story...

First one I wouldn't call a raise on a pair of sevens at the beginning stages of the game. After that it's fine, you got to see all 5 cards to find your set.

2nd one, TPNK is usually a trap. Usually either win a small pot if no one has a higher queen, but if they do, it's gonna cost you alot. So yeah that is fine too.

Hand 1: Preflop is fine. Postflop is fine as well. If you want, you could have seized the opportunity to bet the flop because the the flop was checked through, and the turn paired the board. But you have to shutdown if you're called.

Hand 2: Because the pot is small, and the stacks are deep, you could make an argument for leading out on this flop. But there is just soo many players in this hand. You should know that I often fold the best hand. It's usually marginal. And I never fret about it.
