ICM for Tournaments?

I have been reading up on ICM and how it can be used for SNG. Is it possible to use it for MTTs? With SNG you are usually looking at one table of 3 eventual ITM. I can figure that out no problem. But, when you deal with a large tourney I think that you would be looking at a large group of ITM, right? This would make things difficult.

I would like to see if the following hand was a good play or if I should have folded by using ICM. If not, I welcome people's insight of whether this was a fold, call, or all in. I was 53% to 46% preflop.

There were roughly 160 people left with a payout of 63. The tourney started with 769. Thanks for your help.

I somewhat understand the concept of ICM, but would never be able to figure out the math in the time allotted to make a decision on-line so haven't really delved into it.

As far as your play - it was correct. And so was your opp's play - poker sucks sometimes.
