ur mistake was calling preflop UTG.

why not bet that river? Im not saying that its the right play, but why not bet it?

    agreed fold preflop

    Ok, so youve called preflop.

On the river I think you had to bet the river, just to see where u were at.

The possible outcomes from this bet:

    1. you get flat called, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. This means that you bet the river as a blocking bet. If you win, you win, if you lose, you've priced the river.

    2. you get raised, which tells you you're probably against a flush. Because the blinds are low, and he's in MP, any 2 hearts could be feasible. Fold if you get raised.

    3. he folds, you win.

    Agree?

    EDIT: bet half the pot

    1. Fold preflop
    2. He bet the turn and the river, I doubt he has the flush, I would say you are either ahead or split, I would call

call the river, like tlr said, he bet the turn, i doubt he was on a flush draw. I dont raise this river the way you played it (or really ever here), but i do call the river.

Tough to say-- I doubt he's on the flush draw the way the hand was played, so I definitly call. River raise doesn't get called by anything you can beat most likely.
