    Default Calling Pushes from Maniacs

Say you're at a table where someone takes a bad beat and loses 2/3rds of his chips. He freaks out and starts pushing pre flop 3 out of every 4 hands for the next 2 orbits...No one is calling. What kind of hand do you need to call him? Say you have him out chipped 3:1, and you are directly to his left. The blinds are really small...say you have 70+ BB.

If the blinds are really small then I dont see the point in worrying about it. Let him push until someone (or you) calls him with a monster.

it depends how many chips the table is paying to the table cop.

These were my first instincts too, but after folding 99 and AT suited and knowing that i probably was at least a decent favorite against him with those hands, i called a push with AQo and got sucked out by 85 suited. This is after 2 whole orbits of him doing this. Was this play wrong? I have seen interviews with big pro's like greg raymer and paul phillips on 2+2 where they say that no pro ever intentionally passes up an edge, even a 60/40 one, just for the sake of staying alive. I thought this was one of those situations, is that wrong? In the future should I just wait for AA or someone else to bust him?[/b]

if you're saying he has pushed 3/4 flops for two orbits, you call with AQ and 99, fold AT. I might call with AT out of the BB.
