    Default Ax Play When Shorthanded

How do you guys play A-rag when you're 4-handed (bubbling) and/or 3-handed (A9-A2, suited and off)?

It seems like a lot of the time, if I push with these hands when shorthanded, a lot of the time I'm getting called by someone else with Ax - many times, they've had a higher kicker.

More and more, I'm feeling safer if I fold A9 and below and just wait for something more solid. But how do you all handle it?

Like gabe said, depends on stacks and blinds. I'd like to hear some discussion of how to play these hands on the bubble with lower blinds.
