Default Does PokerStars really have tough competitions??

I've decided to switch from Paradise to either Party or Stars but I'm worried that their won't be fishes at Stars. Has any moderate players made a good decent amount of money from playing at Stars???

LOL. Well if you talking about the bankroll to support my swings then I definitely have that. I like party's ring games but man have they got a bad tournament structure. Only 800 chips to start with. Doesn't give you much to dance with. Maybe I'll take a detour and go Bodog.

Pokerstars has soft games. I clear all their bonuses and have always made a nice profit doing so.

They have re-load bonuses about every other month, usually in conjunction with tournaments they're trying to promote (WSOP, WCOOP, their WPT event, etc.)

Stars isn't so bad. but Bodog is nice too, except they don't have a whole lot of traffic. not a great site if you multi-table.

I think the hardest thing has been the increased difficulty of the games.Empire and Multipoker games have begun to resemble the 10/20 and 15/30 games Bob Ciaforne wrote about in his book(when you've had to resort to blind defense and playing the person in order to turn a profit at .50/1 you know the game is not as soft). As for Party they call waaaaaaay too much. This means better pots when you win(he he he my flushes and sets have been getting paid better) BUT it means when you lose you also lose big pots(although you don't lose more since 3-4 other people were tossing their money in with Ace high against your Kings and Rockets).

My plans are to finish PLAYNOV,then consider the Multi reload.Depending on how I do after I'm going to reevaluate my game more and then decide if I have a future with poker, and how much of it will come from true earned bets and how much of it will come from what little bonuses are left.If I can't find a way to fix my game soon I may have retire.

    Those are my plans.

    hmmmmm
Ive just joined party and i liked it. Too many call my 3bb/4bb raises oop and with garbage and they cant putmeon cards even after i show them crap. Same at 50nl when i had a quick look. Party looks at first glances a kiling parlour for ring i haventlooked at mtts yet and im not playing sng for a while. Ap was the same, my 'looser' style gets me paid more often and i dont loose too many stacks unless i get AAvs KK type preflop hands.
