Villian is TAgg, and has a fat stack. I put him on AK on the river and made a semi-crying call.

    Can you call this?

hand 1 - that's an expensive crying call there If you're confident in your read, a laydown wouldn't be so bad. If he's as solid as you think he is, he probably will have something like AK or even a set there.

    hand 2 - ugh, I couldn't call there
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Why are you calling on the flop in the second hand?

Because right then I"m only losing to QJ and 78 and if the flush draw is calling $9 cold they're probably call if I push after them.

My plan was to drop the hammer if the Turn was niether a heart, a 7, a Jack, or a Queen.

Would you push that flop with that action?

On the first hand, i think it's a fold. You say the villain is TAG, and you checked the flop/bet the turn so he knows you have the A. Unless he is bluffing, what are you beating? Will he play AJ, AT like this? Will he even play them for a raise out of position?

I reraise all in on the flop on the second hand. If they fold, that's fine, if the flush draw calls, it's +EV for me. If you call here so many cards can hurt you on the turn, you leave yourself with a tough decision. As played, I fold the turn and throw my keyboard out of the window.

Hmm, so let's see, if one of 9 hearts, 3 jacks, 3 queens, or 3 7s falls, you're really in a pickle on the turn. That's 18 cards out of 47 which is something stupid like %38 of the deck... yes indeed-y do, I push that flop right there and then.

If that's not enough to convince you to push the flop, look at the action... Jools checkraised that flop pretty hard, and gets a call. There's $38 in the pot including your flop call, and everyone had around $34 going into the turn, so chances are you will get a call. Even if you don't, you net 50BB.

    1) I would be worried about a set.

    2) Call. Expect two pair or Ace Ten of hearts.
