Default Am I ahead often enough to call?

Blinds 15-30, I'm on the button with A Q. 2 limpers, I raise to 120, SB calls, rest fold.

    Flop: 3 7 J. SB checks, I bet 200, SB calls.

    Turn: 6. Check, check.

    River: T. SB bets 300, I ???

    That early on
    I would probably fold that.

I'm inclined to fold here. There are only two cards that beat you, but the smooth call on the flop worries me. I likely cut my losses and look for a better spot.

Its only 300 to call and only two cards beat you I say go for it.

Depends the player. If thats a 5$ buy in and its a fishy agressive player, call.

If its 30$ buy in and hes a tricky shark, fold.

When you have tough decisions like that, it never hurts to look at the hand history to get information on that player. If he has done a big river bet a lot, he probably bluff. If you see he seems like a good player then think about folding.

I tend not to mention stack sizes if they're large enough so that nobody is pot-committed at any point during the hand. Is that typically understood?

After thinking about this some more, I think I have to fold (unless I have a read that he's an idiot). His check-call on the flop says either "I have a made flush" or "I have a strong flush draw." Given that, every hand he could reasonably call a raise with preflop beats me.

As it turned out, I called and he flipped over A K.

Stack sizes would be a huge factor in calling here. As long as this doesn't cripple me, I probably make a crying call here...
    Hey knucklehead! Bonk!

    Im not sure about you
    but
i think people bet different and react differently to bets depending on their stack sizes, regardless of whether or not they are pot committed.

I would have bet the turn, probably 1/2 pot, and see where I stand
