People let me tell you about my best friends...

Default sneaky looking min raise...good or weak fold?

Anspump has proven pretty aggressive and moderately tight. I had all sorts of alarm bells going off on this hand. Anyone play this differently?

I just shut it down on the turn rather than chance an annoying bubble out...

Looks like its probably a really good fold. Tough to tell without being at the table and seeing how he played previously, but its always kind of tough with hands like this anyway.

It feels like he has 22 to me, and he was trying his best to keep you in.

Most of the time I probably would've played it identically. I'd like to say I'd have folded on the flop, but I probably would've called that to make sure on the turn, and that kind of turn bet is exactly what I would've been looking for to make me feel confident that I was beat.

It looks like you were thinking the same thing, and given that, you absolutely made a good fold on the turn. Your read was strong and you trusted it enough to lay down a big hand. Well done.

Question for you guys. With the blinds at 625 and a stack of 6600 would you make an all in with this? Instead of getting out played on the flop? Or is the play different out of the sb? Just curious.
    Thx

with no limps I'd go 3x here. With a limp already I would usually push and I'm certainly making him pay more to draw.

    That's what I was thinking.

Your flop bet with TPTK on a 2-flush board is mighty, mighty weak. 1/3rd pot?

Mostly likely hand for villain based on PF action is a PP < QQ (QQ+ probably puts you all in). It could also be a loose call with AXs or high suited connectors.

I would bet at least 2/3 pot on flop. Given your bet... I can't really argue with the call check-fold because I can't tell if he has 22, QJ, 77, or A8. You have 1/2 your stack in there but you are not quite commited.

You could have also raised more PF. He had almost 3:1 to call. I don't think a push is best either (with an M ~10 I probably don't want to flip for my stack). It's close though, since you are only dominated by AA/KK, and might get called by some sort of ATs nonsense.

I just don't know how much you can really raise and then fold to an AI, which is I think what your plan is? Even if you get smooth called are you going to lay down when he pushes a rag flop? What if he checks the rag flop to you?

I think I only non push raise here if I'm sure that the guy is so tight he won't limp and then call/push without KK/AA.
