Without a read, I would fold preflop to his reraise. Minraise from UTG plus minreraise = AA (maybe KK). But I'm probably the most weak-tight player on this board on Party Level 1.

    170 to call into a 600 pot.
I think I can destack him if a Q flops.

I posted a hand similar to this today, and it would be better to fold to the re-raise because you're likely at best a coinflip because the re-raising range is usually AA,KK,AK.

if it cost u 100 chips to call a reriase into a 1k pot.
would u? even if u knew he had AA or KK?

To this i would say no, being that you r a 22 to 1 underdog.....but if hes deep stacked and u know he gives you another 2k if you hit...yea i call all day.

He bet 125 into a 1k pot and you folded. I find a bet this size is weakness....i think i push the flop here. Agaist bad players a bet like this mean i missed but im going to bet it anyway. When i bet that weak....it means i flopped a monster and i want to to think so and come over the top. In a 11, i am going over the top here and watching this guy fold about 75% of the time.

i thought his bet was peculiar too
i had no idea whether or not it was weak or strong
all i know is that with his PF action alot of his hands hit the board.
That J makde things harder too.

170 to win 1400 are your implied odds. Those are about 8:1 odds, and you don't want to make a break-even bet for a lot of your chips if you are better than the other players at this table.

Also, you won't even win 100 percent of the time even when a Q flops (for example, if the flop is AQx, you're not getting away). If you think you're queens are no good, and they probably aren't, just chuck them preflop.
