This is a 20$ 180man sng, figured I should put it in the mtt forum since you use a mtt mentality, not a sng mentality in these. I have no reads on the guy I just got put at this table.

Ok so its folded to me in pos and I have nearly 20x, and I look down at 77. If I wasnt in good pos, then a 3x can get me in trouble, so I might just open limp it. However I have good pos, so I go ahead and raise it. folds to sb who rerasies me 600-1200. now I have a pot of what.. like 2k, and 600 to call with a PP(and I already have 600 of my chips in there). I dont like putting so much of my stack in preflop with a hand I dont feel comfortable with on most flops. However if I hit my 7, of course Im good. And I can look to out play him, if I push now Im almost 100% sure Im getting called. So I call. flop comes KXX, and he best out 600 into a 2k pot, hes not even betting what he bet preflop, either hes hit a set of kings, AA or he is scared of the flop. KK and AA are definatley possible, however this is my last chance to pick up this pot, if I fold now Im stuck with 10x. Like I said he could have AA or KK, but he could also have AQ AJ, and any PP under K, all of which he should be folding here. But 10x aint so bad, you can always push your way back from it. So the questions is, What do you do, and why?

Yes. I fold here, it looks a lot like preflop he has KK or AA and doesn't want to scare you away. On the flop he doesn't want to make it obvious that he has something huge on that board, either KK or maybe AA, but I think he has KK. I'd fold this and look for another time to double up.

I think that if he didnt give me a chance on the flop then fine. But hes show A LOT of weakness here, and I have a lot of my stack in this pot. I think hes weaker then TP in this situation way more then he is stronger. And if hes weaker then TP its a horrible call. Thoughts?

Btw, if I push him off his hand I am at over 5k, if I fold I just folded a 2.6k pot for 600, and I have 2600 left.
You-- yes, you-- you're a cunt.

I would think maybe QQ or JJ if he c-bet small like that on the flop. Unles he's trying to get you to call his trip K's. Since you missed move on and fold it. Either way you're dominated. You may only win if you catch a 7 for trips if he doesn't have KK. Not too many outs for you to gamble with.

He probably has you beat, so what you need to ask yourself is will he fold. If he is the sort of player who will put you on a king if you push and fold away his QQ, JJ, or TT, and you are right about his crazy range (he'd do this with AJ??) I think raising is a good move. But most people will go ahead and call, knowing they made a weak flop bet. With no read I fold. With a tight-weak read, and a nonmaniac image for me, I push.

well I decided to push, he had JJ ( and called ofc) ... I just think if theres any decent folding equity here, I have to push. I have too much of my stack in to rule it out.

with the deep stacks limping is a lot better IMO.

As played I agree you have to go with that flop.

Tough hand. You have ~19BB... but that's not exactly deep. I would definitly raise 99 here, probably 77 as well to try to steal the blinds. I guess I call the raise, too.

I have to admit, if villian is willing to go with his JJ no matter what, that is an excellent little fake-probe bet. It looks totally weak, and I would have to have a really strong trap read to fold to it. Plus, you don't have the chips to just call and see the turn.

IF he's going to call your push over, then this is very hard to defend against. If you really put him on a pair below Ks but willing to call, *maybe* you can just call this silly bet, then push if an A or 7 hits. You would have to certainly put him on 99-JJ or weak A to do this, though.

In the end though - you are flat out dominated from start to finish. Very hard to get away, because any "safe" flop for you (i.e., 1 high card) is safe for him as well.

I'd have folded this one. Not worth the risk, and I'm not at all surprised he called with JJ, given your stack size and likely desperation.

If he just called preflop and then I'd agree that the checkraise all in would be more worth it, as its more likely you have the best hand, and its more believable that you may play a K like that.
