First hand seems alright. I probably would have bet the flop, but you can take a free card here. The turn call is pretty loose, but you do have 12 outs, but they are not clean. He could easily have the 8, making your straight outs bad. Flush outs are clean(er) but you have a smaller flush, certainly.

I think I put him all-in on the river as well.

2nd hand, again, i probably take my chances with the bottom set. I assume you lost, so I am wondering if you can just call down the turn. River is tough to play though. I just think you still have alot of chips and are probably tilting from that last hand.

Why? I would only push there if I was extremely confident he only had the str8.

1st hand - first of all, fold preflop. After that, you were fine except just call the river bet, don't reraise - you don't have the nuts.

2nd hand - played fine. I assume he hit a spade, K, or 5 on the river - u got outdrawn - nh - gg.

No reason to put villain on hearts here. He could call with two-pair, set, straight. He could fold a medium flush.

That being said, the conservative move is to call.
