Short stacked need opinions on this hand I lost.

Just a hand I want opinions on the play, I seldom play the suited gap connectors but I did this hand.

I don't play those types of hands short stacked. You have to hit 2pr or better to get your money in. I wait for big hands and push them hard when I drop half my stack early.

Don't show the results in your post, or at least white them out.

I would definitely fold the flop. When you limp in with suited connectors or gappers you are only going to be interested if you hit two pair or a draw. Ya you have a pair with a gutshot straight draw, but someone could have flopped the straight or be drawing to a higher straight or even the heart flush. So there's a good chance you are drawing dead.

This is why you play suited connectors and gappers. Unless you hit a really nice flop you can fold them like lightning.
